On the 17th May 2020, Care Network Cambridgeshire will be 34 years old.

We were founded by members of a successful village community group, in response to requests from other like-minded people wanting to set up similar schemes in their villages, to support local residents at times – when they were struggling, their independence and happiness threatened.

Covid-19 has made the need for support of local residents and communities even more vital and will affect us for many months to come. In response, we have launched #Challenge34 a fundraising campaign to support the continued delivery of our Covid-19 Responsive Services, enabling us to support Cambridgeshire residents and communities on the long road to recovery that lies ahead of us.

 

Our Staff and Trustees have become involved, with several different challenges, including

• making & selling 34 jars of marmalade
• making & selling 34 bespoke greeting cards
• cycling 34 miles
• walking round a local lake 34 times dressed in an inflatable unicorn costume.
