Help at Home Senior Coordinator
£21,983 for 25 hours a week Monday to Friday
Have you got a proven track record as an effective team leader with great organisational skills and are you person focused? Are you looking for a new challenge that will make a real difference to a team assisting people when they need it most?
The role will involve coordinating a work load within a team and ensure that all clients are supported in a timely and professional manner and that records are maintained to a high level. It will also include ensuring 1:1’s and mandatory training are completed withing specific timescales.
In addition this role requires assisting the Manager to supervise and support others in the team including, training, supervision, managing workloads and ensuring deadlines are adhered to.
The Senior Coordinator will confidently represent Help at Home, the Voluntary Sector Alliance and CNC at meetings with system and voluntary sector partners or by communicating directly with clients or their relatives, demonstrating our ethos of ‘People at the Heart of Everything’.
At times you will be required to assist with shopping or light housework, taking the time to chat to people and make sure they are comfortable and have access to the support they need to be able to remain in their home safely. It may also be helping to coordinate services and provide support for people to ensure that they are able to return to their home.
The post will be based across Cambridgeshire which includes visiting the areas three main acute hospitals and will also involve being in the community visiting people in their own homes.
We work with health and social care providers and other voluntary organisations. We ensure that whatever is needed is put in place so that people can stay in or return to their own homes and communities.

Relief Workers
Would you like a flexible, paid role that makes a real difference to people when they need it most?
We are recruiting for Relief Workers. These roles don’t have fixed hours – you can work when it’s convenient to you and get paid over £12 an hour for doing so! We are looking for workers who have the skills to work in one or more of our core services.
We provide support for people who need help with practical things following discharge from hospital, or if they have been unwell. This may be things like doing a little shopping or light housework, taking the time to chat to people and make sure they are comfortable and having access to the support they need to be able to stay safely at home and in touch with their community.
We also provide support for people who are struggling with their wellbeing. Through encouraging them and unblocking problems we encourage and enable people to achieve the things they need and want to do.
Our Navigators provide information, advice, and guidance, opening doors and ensuring people have the right access to the right services at the right time.

About Care Network Cambridgeshire: For over 35 years we have been working alongside local people and communities across Cambridgeshire. We are passionate about making a difference to people and empowering them to live happier, healthier and independent lives.
About you: You will have leadership or management skills and want to contribute to a key local partner in the Health and Social Care sector. You will be curious to find out more about what we do and be able to help us do it better. You will be keen to contribute to focussed working groups tackling particular issues and be an ambassador for the charity in your local networks.
About our trustees: Our trustees serve voluntarily and pro bono; they have particular responsibility for strategy, quality, compliance, governance and oversight of the Leadership Team who manage the day-to-day operations of the charity.
