Together, they help ensure our charity is guided with purpose and integrity, delivering meaningful support where it is needed most.

Trustees
Our Trustees work closely with the Leadership Team to shape the strategic direction of the charity, providing guidance, oversight and constructive challenge to ensure we remain financially sustainable, well-governed and focused on delivering the greatest possible impact. Drawing on a diverse range of experience from both the public and private sectors, they play a vital role in helping Care Network achieve its mission and support communities across Cambridgeshire.
Mike brings extensive experience of leading across local government and community systems. In previous roles, he has worked alongside and supported Care Network for many years.
Rowena brings extensive NHS clinical and management experience, alongside strong partnership‑working skills. A trustee since 2024, she’s committed to helping people navigate complex health and social care services with clarity and confidence.
Sue Ellington is a long‑serving South Cambridgeshire District Councillor with a background in nursing and care‑home inspection. She champions community connection, founding a weekly village coffee morning that supports local groups. As a Care Network trustee, she brings practical insight and helps strengthen links with the District Council.
A lifelong Cambridgeshire resident and former District Nursing Sister, she has deep roots in local health and social care. With decades of hands‑on experience and ongoing volunteer work, she is committed to supporting older and vulnerable people. As a Care Network trustee, she brings valuable lived experience and strong community connections to the charity’s vital work.
Jane brings valuable expertise in IT along with extensive private sector and international experience as a Board Director – further enriching the diversity and strength of our leadership team.
Appointed to the board of Care Network Cambridgeshire in August 2025, Dr Amure provides governance and strategic oversight.
Dr. Larry Amure is a retired NHS doctor, Cambridge graduate, and the author of the memoir “Beyond the Horizon Might be Better”
Sue Gozna is an experienced in-house technology lawyer who serves as a Board of Trustee member.
Leadership Team
Our Leadership Team brings together a wealth of experience from across the charity, voluntary, public and private sectors. Working collaboratively, they provide strong leadership and oversee the day-to-day delivery of our services, ensuring Care Network remains focused, sustainable and responsive to the needs of local people. Together, they are committed to supporting our employees and volunteers and delivering high-quality services that make a positive difference to communities across Cambridgeshire.
Lynda joined us in 2024 as our CEO. Lynda has varied experience, including working with ex-offenders, worklessness, education, and in the last few years has worked in the charity sector as a consultant, and as a CEO. Lynda believes in demonstrating high levels of collaboration, building connections with our communities, promoting the care and attention that everyone in CNC gives to keep the charity moving forward and having a positive impact to client’s wellbeing.
Emma joined Care Network in 2023 after spending 8 years working in the voluntary sector in various roles. Focusing on her local community, Emma spent some time managing a charity shop which then led onto a role as Fundraising Manager before becoming the General Manager for a charity in Huntingdonshire. Emma now holds the role of Head of Services for Care Network.
Sue has been with Care Network since 2012, originally acting as project support to Community Navigators. With years of experience within the finance and banking sector, Sue now holds the post of Finance Officer, responsible for all areas of the organisations finances. Sue originally made the switch from private to the voluntary sector moving to COVER, an umbrella organisation across the East of England.
Pete joined Care Network in 2022, his career is a quiet testament to resilience, compassion, and a deep-rooted commitment to people at their most vulnerable. Peter has worked within both Children’s and Adult Care sectors. Underpinning his experience is a strong academic and professional foundation: a BA in Social Work, NVQ Level 4 in Care, IOSH certification, a Registered Managers Award, and an NVQ Assessors Award.
