We wish Sue a Happy Retirement

December 10, 2020 by careadmin

Sue Beel, Care Network Cambridgeshire’s longest serving employee has retired after nearly 20 years with the Charity.

Sue was our first Community Development Officer, helping the people of Fenland create many new community groups, and provided ongoing support to them once established. Along the way Sue became an expert in Rural Community Transport, resulting in Fenland being completely covered by Community Car Schemes.

Sue didn’t just ‘do Transport’ though, she attended Golden Age Fairs, helped set up a diverse range of groups covering interests from Cinema to Walking and many others in between. Sue has been very willing to pass on her knowledge and was a great support to the Community Development Officers that joined her as we expanded across the county.

We and all the groups she has supported through the years would like to wish Sue a very long and happy retirement now she has more time to devote to her interests of tennis, roses and grandchildren.
