We’re delighted to introduce you to the newest member of our trustee team, Rowena. She brings a wealth of experience and energy to Care Network and has already been busy meeting our teams across the county and learning more about the scope and impact of our local services.
Read what Rowena has to say about becoming a trustee:
“During my career with the NHS and in my subsequent volunteer roles, I have developed a range of skills and experiences, including clinical, senior management, financial skills, and multidisciplinary partnership working.
Finding your way through health and social care services can be complicated even for someone like me, who has worked in these services. I often find when talking to friends and relatives, that they find it difficult to know who to go to and how to access services. The work of the Care Network is vital in supporting people in the community and helping them find their way through what can seem a ‘maze’ of services.
I became a Trustee in February 2024 and will use my energy, commitment, skills and enthusiasm, to support Care Network in helping more people in the community access and navigate the services they need.”
Thank you Rowena and to all our trustees and volunteers for their commitment to our vision. Together we’re putting people at the heart of everything.
Do you have skills, insight and connections that you’d like to share to make a difference for the people of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough?
