We support people to do the extraordinary everyday.

The Connected Communities Project encourages local communities and individuals to set up micro enterprises, circles of support and groups to meet the identified needs of their communities, through research, promotion and support. It will deliver a new approach of how social care, help and support can be provided within communities.

Where are we Working?

Currently we are talking to people in Soham and St Ives, Cambridgeshire

What are we Doing?

We are working with individuals, communities and partners to give people more options about support to stay independent.

How can I Help?

We need lots of people to make this work, and we think by working together we will all benefit.

  • Are you great with people and would be interested in paid work supporting someone in their own home with hours that fit round your other commitments?
  • Are you a whizz with figures and would be happy to help people who aren’t?
  • Do you want to start your own business – and it matters that it makes your community a better place?
  • Do you want to volunteer to gain new skills and meet people?

We’d love to hear from you. Contact us on 01954 774 801 or email connected.communities@care-network.org.uk

Looking forward to getting Connected.
